“For years, every time I tried to play guitar, I heard the same thing: just cut your nails. As if beauty and music couldn’t coexist. As if the only solution was to shrink myself.”
She stopped playing.
Then she built the solution.
I’ve spent most of my life in spaces that weren’t designed for women. I never accepted that. I built my career on showing that you can be powerful and feminine — soft and strong — and own your place in any room.
But the one place my femininity held me back was my guitar. My nails aren’t just cosmetic — they’re part of my identity. So eventually, I stopped playing.
What if women aren’t the problem? What if the tool we need simply doesn’t exist yet? So I designed it.
